CHALLENGE

Launched in 2023 with a bold, darkly comedic brand strategy, NoFuture's visual execution wasn't living up to the audacity of its positioning. They needed a look—and a voice—that matched their punk-rock, nihilistic attitude.

APPROACH

We developed an alternate identity that brought their strategy to life: distressed textures, stark black backdrops, bold typography, and unfiltered messaging. We also established a distinctive tone of voice that cuts through cannabis marketing cliches with darkly comedic honesty. The result felt more counterculure streetwear drop than dispensary brand.

RESULT

A brand system that authentically reflects NoFuture's unapologetic worldview and cuts through the noise in a crowded cannabis market. By summer of 2025, the brand has ascended to become one of the top-selling gummy brands in Canada's highly competitive edibles category.
